The Woodcap Pin Moisture Meter Basic is a moisture meter that determines the moisture content in wood and building materials. The operation of the Woodcap moisture meter is based on a conductometric method, which determines the moisture level of materials based on their conductivity. This allows the moisture meter to measure the moisture content in wood, lightweight concrete, lime plaster, and sand-cement floor screeds in just a few seconds.
Remove the protective cover and push both measuring electrodes as deep as possible into the material being measured. The results will appear on the screen within 1-2 seconds. To conserve battery power, the meter automatically shuts off after 2 minutes of inactivity.
