Application
The product's application temperature range is between +5°C and +40°C. It should be applied to a clean, dust-free, and grease-free surface. For safe cleaning and degreasing, as well as perfect finishing and removal of uncured Tec7 polymers, Tec7 Prepare & Finish is recommended. For heavy contamination, Tec7 Cleaner or Multiclean can be used. The product can be applied with a hand or air pressure gun, preferably with a telescopic nozzle.
Due to the wide variety of plastics, compositions, and materials that are sensitive to stress corrosion, it is recommended to perform pre-testing. This also applies to plastics, powder coatings, exotic wood, and bituminous materials. Weak or porous surfaces should first be reinforced with Fixprimer.
Since there are many different paints and coatings available, it is advisable to conduct a test. The use of alkyd resin-based products may slow down the drying process. For mirror bonding in wet areas, it is important to apply only vertical adhesive strips to prevent stagnant moisture due to condensation.
The ideal adhesive thickness for optimal bonding strength is 3 mm. Consumption for joint work and sealing may vary.
