Application

• For bonding roofing materials (EPDM, PVC, underlayment, etc.), flooring (linoleum, vinyl tiles, cork, parquet, etc.), walls (waterproof membranes, insulation, shower panels, and acoustic panels), wood (veneer, HPL finish, etc.), and other materials (foam rubber, stair coverings, laminating and doubling of panels, etc.).

Instructions

Before use:

• Apply to a clean and stable surface. The surface may be slightly damp.
• Use Tec7 Prepare & Finish for safe cleaning and degreasing, perfect finishing, and removal of uncured Tec7 polymers. For heavy contamination, use Tec7 Cleaner and/or Multiclean.
• Due to the wide variety of plastics and materials sensitive to stress corrosion, preliminary testing is recommended.
• Test adhesion on plastics, powder coatings, exotic wood types, and bituminous materials.
• Protect adjacent materials.

Usage:

• Before use, shake the canister vigorously for at least 20 times. Shake regularly during use.
• Screw the can onto the Spray & PUR Gun and turn the dosing knob fully open. Attach the SprayTec Nozzle for an even spray pattern.
• Perform a spray test on a test surface.
• Spray from 30-50 cm away.
• Use multiple quick passes for an even layer thickness or spray slowly for a bubbly effect with a thicker, more irregular layer build-up.
• Let the sprayed layer evaporate for a few seconds before bonding. For a thick layer with a bubbly effect, let it evaporate for at least 1 minute.
• Immediately after spraying, the bonded materials can be repositioned easily. After 45 to 60 minutes, the initial adhesion will increase significantly, ideal for vertical bonding. The maximum open time is +/- 75 minutes (at 23°C). Do not continue bonding after skin formation.
• Bring the materials to be bonded together and avoid excessive forces or slipping during curing. After 12 to 24 hours, the glue will be 95% cured. Full curing will occur after 7 days.

After use:

• Remove uncured SprayTec with Prepare & Finish.
• Thin layers of cured glue can be removed.
• Unscrew the empty canister from the gun and thoroughly clean the gun both internally and externally with Spray & PUR Cleaner.
• A started canister can remain mounted on the gun for an extended period and reused. Close the dosing screw and clean the exterior of the gun with Spray & PUR Cleaner.
• Due to the variety of paints and coatings available, testing is recommended. The use of products based on alkyd resin can interfere with the drying process of both the glue and the paint.
• Use WP7-101 Universal Roof Sealant as an aid for bonding and finishing raised edges when installing or repairing EPDM roofing.
