Processing
Shake the can vigorously for 20 seconds. Screw the can onto the gun. Moisten the grease- and dust-free surface. For non-standard surfaces, it is recommended to first perform an adhesion test on the substrate. Fill the joint or cavity up to 65% as the foam will expand further during curing. Shake regularly during use. If working in multiple layers, moisten between the layers. Uncured foam can be removed with cleaner or acetone. Cured foam can only be removed mechanically or with Soudal PU remover.
Applications
- Installation of fire doors and fire windows.
- Sealing joints with fire-resistant properties in walls and ceilings.
- As part of the 'Soudal Fire Range' for penetrations and joints.
- Sealing all openings in roof constructions.
- Application of an acoustic barrier.
- All foam applications in static joints.

Soudal Soudafoam FR HY Gun
Soudal Soudafoam FR HY Gun is a HIGH YIELD fire-resistant one-component expanding polyurethane foam filler. It offers 25% more yield than what you’re used to. Suitable for the installation of fire-resistant doors and windows.
The can is equipped with a thread so it can be used with a foam gun. The foam is also filled with HCFC- and CFC-free propellants, which are completely harmless to the ozone layer. Soudafoam FR High Yield Gun is a PU foam with fire-resistant properties. Thanks to the Duravalve valve, the yield can be maintained for a longer period, even if stored or transported horizontally.
Storage and Stability
12 months in unopened packaging in a dry and cool place (between 5 and 25°C). It is recommended to store the can upright.
