Application
Butyrub is suitable for sealing joints with limited movement (max. 5%), such as joints between masonry, door and window frames, and window sills. It can also be used when installing single glazing in wooden, concrete, and steel frames, such as in conservatories. Additionally, it is ideal for sealing joints in bodywork and container construction, sealing openings in roof structures, and repairing and renovating roofs and gutters.

Butyrub is a high-quality, plastically permanent one-component joint sealant based on polybutene. It forms an elastic and waterproof skin, but does not fully cure. This sealant is very easy to work with and offers excellent adhesion to many porous materials. Butyrub is UV-resistant, has good resistance to chemicals, and is weather-resistant. The sealant is paintable after 24 hours.
