Application
Sika Smoothing Agent N is used for smoothing joints made of the most common sealant types, including silicone, polyurethane, and MS polymer sealants.
Spray the product onto the joint sealant. Moisten a finger or spatula with the product. Smooth the joint with the finger or spatula. Finishing: Do not allow the smoothing agent to dry on the sealant joint or substrate. After the sealant has sufficiently skinned over, rinse off the smoothing agent with clean water. Dried residues may cause optical damage to the surface of the silicone and adjacent materials. Residues can also negatively affect paint adhesion on paintable sealants.
