Application
Sikaflex®-295 UV is specially developed for the marine industry, where it is used to bond and seal plastic windows on boats and ships. Due to its excellent weather resistance, this product is also highly suitable for sealing joints exposed to weather conditions. Suitable substrates include aluminum (bare or anodized), GRP (polyester resin), stainless steel, wood, 2-component coatings, and plastics (PC, PMMA). Consult supplier advice and perform tests on original substrates before applying Sikaflex®-295 UV to materials susceptible to stress corrosion. This product is only suitable for use by experienced professionals. Always perform tests in advance on common substrates and under local conditions to determine compatibility and adhesion of the adhesive to the material.
