Usage
The product is designed for sealing:
- Pipe or conduit penetrations
- Cable trays
- Pipe connections (e.g., in manholes)
- Prefabricated concrete elements
- Pipes with a diameter of up to 200 mm (pipe stop)
The product can be used both indoors and outdoors, and above or below ground.

Sika Boom 405 Water Stop 400ml
Sika Boom 405 Water Stop is a 2-component, fast-curing, self-expanding polyurethane-based sealing foam that does not require humidity to cure. The high density and the very fine, predominantly closed-cell structure of this foam lead to a waterproof seal for pipe penetrations, around pipes, or at pipe connections. Thanks to the special packaging, the application can be interrupted and resumed later simply by replacing the nozzle.
