ME301 is also ideal for sealing around penetrations of the vapor barriers, such as chimneys, ventilation pipes, and sealing around beams, connection corners, etc.
ProcessingME301 can be applied by removing the backing paper and overlapping it in a shingle-like manner with the vapor barrier to create an airtight connection. ME301 adheres to almost all common building materials, but the bonding surfaces should be dry, free of oil and grease, and must not contain substances that would hinder the adhesion.
