Application
The PU700 is a very strong adhesive and bonds stone-like building materials, such as concrete, stone, ceramics, plasterboard, various types of building blocks, and wood. The PU700 is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications and is used for heavy stone and wood constructions, wooden wall and floor panels, and window frames. The PU700 is KOMO certified for load-bearing walls made of calcium silicate, ceramic building blocks, concrete, and aerated concrete.
Usage Tip
- Observe general work hygiene during processing.
- Wear gloves and safety glasses.
- Cured adhesive can only be removed mechanically.
- Consult the label on the packaging and/or the safety data sheet for additional information.
The PU010 is ideally suited for bonding various insulation board materials and finishing boards.

Preparation
- Pre-test the suitability of the substrate.
- Use your personal protective equipment (PPE).
- The substrate must be flat, clean, dust- and grease-free, and sufficiently load-bearing.
- A slightly damp substrate promotes curing speed.
Application
- Shake the can vigorously for at least 20 seconds before each use. Pre-spray the adapter ring of the gun with AA291 Adapter Lubricant Spray. This ensures a longer lifespan of the gun and prevents foam adhesion, valve damage, and leakage from the can.
- Then remove the protective cap from the can and screw it onto the gun or attach the AA210 Spray Nozzle.
- When using a gun, the amount of adhesive can be controlled by the trigger and the adjustment of the dosing screw on the gun.
- Apply the PU700 one-sided on the horizontal and, if necessary, on the vertical surfaces of the materials to be bonded.
- For non-load-bearing walls, we recommend one bead of adhesive per 75 mm of stone width.
- Shake the can again before reuse. The gun can stay attached to the can for up to 4 weeks, as long as it is stored upright.
- For load-bearing walls according to KOMO, at least 90% of the surface of the stones/blocks to be bonded must be glued. We recommend using the AA254 Gun and the AA700 Adhesive Distributor to apply two adhesive strips in one go.
- Consumption can be determined using the online stone adhesive calculator on the illbruck website.
- Structural calculations (by an authorized person) can be made based on the data in the KOMO certificate.
- Curing time depends on temperature, moisture content in the substrate, and the thickness of the applied adhesive layer.
