The PU700 is a very strong adhesive that bonds stone-like building materials such as concrete, stone, ceramics, plasterboard, various types of building blocks, and wood. The PU700 is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and is used for heavy stone and wood constructions, wooden wall and floor panels, and frames. The PU700 is KOMO certified for load-bearing walls made of calcium-silicate stone, ceramic building blocks, concrete, and aerated concrete.

- Test the suitability of the substrate beforehand.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- The surface should be flat, clean, dust- and grease-free, and sufficiently load-bearing.
- A slightly damp surface accelerates curing speed.
- Shake the can vigorously for at least 20 seconds before each use. Spray the adapter ring of the gun with AA291 Adapter Lubricant Spray before use. This ensures a longer life for the gun and prevents foam adhesion, valve damage, and leakage.
- Next, remove the protective cap and screw the can onto the gun or attach the AA210 Spray Nozzle.
- When using the gun, the amount of adhesive can be controlled via the trigger and the setting of the dosage screw.
- Apply the PU700 adhesive on one side of the horizontal and, if needed, vertical surfaces of the materials to be bonded.
- For non-load-bearing walls, we recommend 1 bead of adhesive per 75 mm stone width.
- For reuse, always shake the can again. The gun can remain attached to the can for up to 4 weeks if stored upright.
- For load-bearing walls according to KOMO standards, at least 90% of the surface of the stones/blocks must be bonded. We recommend using the AA254 Gun and the AA700 Adhesive Spreader for applying two beads in one operation.
- The adhesive consumption can be determined using the online stone adhesive calculator on the illbruck website.
- Structural calculations (by an authorized person) can be made based on the data in the KOMO certificate.
- Curing time depends on temperature, moisture in the substrate, and the thickness of the applied adhesive layer.
The PU700 STONE & WOOD ADHESIVE is a fast-curing 1K polyurethane adhesive for bonding various stone-like and wooden substrates. The PU700 is free of CFCs, HCFCs, and HFCs.
