Application
The LD925 is specifically designed for construction applications where a high level of airtightness is required, such as floor-to-wall connections, wall-to-ceiling connections, around (frame) windows, and for various joints and surfaces in construction. The LD925 adheres to most common construction materials such as steel, concrete, stone, wood, and aluminum and is suitable for both new construction and renovation projects. After curing, it forms a seamless and highly elastic membrane with high mechanical strength.

During processing, observe overall occupational hygiene. Consult the label on the packaging and/or the safety data sheet for additional information.

Preparation
- The substrates must be clean, free of dust, grease, and other contaminants that affect adhesion.
- Adhesive surfaces should be stable and free from loose parts.
- Application on slightly damp surfaces is possible but will delay curing.
- Ensure a well-sealed working surface; avoid openings and holes.
- On non-porous/closed surfaces, drying will take longer.
Application
- Stir manually for about 3 minutes before use.
- Apply the coating preferably at room temperature.
- Do not apply the LD925 Waterbased i-Seal Coating at temperatures <5°C.
- Ensure a smooth surface without mortar residues and rough parts; level if necessary.
- Fill joints or openings larger than 2 mm in advance with FM330 (or PR101 for indoor sealing).
- Wait at least 24 hours before applying the coating after cutting FM330.
- Apply a minimum of 2 mm (wet) and a maximum of 3 mm (wet) thickness in total.
- Apply the coating undiluted and evenly in the desired thickness using an airless spray machine. Consult an illbruck contact person for the appropriate application equipment.
- Cleaning can be done with cold water before curing takes place.
- After full curing, the coating is ready for plastering.
