The products of Den Braven Zwaluw that are specifically made for protection against fire, carry the FireProtect® label. Meaning, that all these products are tested and certified according to the latest European Standards (NEN EN 1366-6 and NEN EN 1366-3). This guarantees that the products will protect sufficiently in case of a fire. You can recognize the fire-resistant products from Den Braven in our range by the name Zwaluw FireProtect ®.
Different fire resistant products and applications
We have fire resistant products in many categories from sealants, so you can seal all cracks and seams against smoke and slowing down the fire. But also coatings for sealing recesses around cables, cable ducts and pipes. Next to this, you can also find other products that ensure a nice finish. Such as the Combifit Keraseal Glazing Tape, this tape is resistant to high temperatures and suitable for glazing that must comply with fire classes G, F and T. With the Zwaluw FireProtect FP Wall Outlet you can seal openings such as a wall socket against smoke and fire. As a result, the fire-resistant property of the wall remains intact.
Another product, the Zwaluw FireProtect FP Pipe Collars, can be applied around plastic pipes. In the event of a fire, the sleeve will expand so that the airflow is closed for fire and smoke. These collars can be mounted using Zwaluw Pipe Collar Brackets. For plastic pipes you can use the Zwaluw FireProtect FP Pipe Wrap. These fire sleeves will foam in the event of a fire and thus prevent spreading of fire, smoke and heat. In addition, the Zwaluw Fire Board is of course suitable for the prevention of heat, smoke and fire. You can place this rock wool panel in the recess when it has been made to measure. You can treat the sides with Zwaluw's FP Intumescent Coating for the optimum fire-resistant finish.
