Combifit Combiband
Combiband KOMO-certified is a quality product that can be directly installed from the roll into the joint.
Application
Specially suitable for a rainproof joint sealant for joints in vertical exterior wall surfaces between construction parts or building materials such as concrete, masonry, natural stone, metals, plastics, and wood.
Classification of Joints
- Flat parallel joints:
Aluminum, steel, stainless steel, painted or planed wood, untextured concrete, extruded plastic, etc. - Irrregular parallel joints:
Stone-like masonry materials, materials with a textured finish. - Flat, tapering joints:
For tapering joints, the joint width must be determined in advance, along with the corresponding tape thickness. - Irrregular, tapering joints:
When only one side of the joint is flat, the joint should be considered irregular. Always choose the widest joint dimension to calculate the tape thickness and width.
Processing
The surface must be clean, free of dust and grease.
Choosing the tape size:
Use the correct tape size for each joint width.
For changes in joint width, multiple tape sizes (thicknesses) can be applied.
A rain barrier is not an airtight seal.
Installation:
The pre-compressed tape can be applied directly from the roll into the joint.
Do not allow the tape to run into the corners or around the corners.
Cut to size with a utility knife or special scissors.
Cut tape connections at an angle and join them with an overlap.

Combiband
The Combiband serves as a rainproof joint sealant for joints in vertical exterior wall surfaces between construction parts or building materials such as concrete, masonry, natural stone, metals, plastics, and wood. Its application in vertical exterior walls is solely for the purpose of a rain barrier. A second joint seal on the interior side (inner leaf) is required for air sealing. Combiband KOMOcertified offers protection against moisture, rain, dust, heat loss, sound, etc.
